Jo Ann Rothschild is an abstract painter and the first recipient of the Maud Morgan purchase prize from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Rothschild received a grant in painting from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. In addition to the BMFA her work is in the collections of the Fogg Museum at Harvard, Mills College and Taller Experimental Graphico in Havana, Cuba.
