Description
Fiction. California Interest. Harry Gnostopolos is frantically trying to keep his beloved indie theater afloat while his frustrated girlfriend implores him to let it go along with his other neuroses. Harry's fate suddenly changes with the arrival of an old bohemian friend and an exotic woman who tempt him with a chance to save the theater and his life. All he has to do is join a subversive cabal of thieves, who have planned a heist that will rewrite history.
Author Bio
Ken Janjigian is the author of the novel Defending Infinity, and two works of fiction set in San Francisco: Gone West (novellas) and most recently the novel A Cerebral Offer (Livingston Press, 2020), which received a bronze medal for urban fiction by the Independent Publisher Book Awards (2021). He has just completed the screenplay Kerouac, a biopic of the legendary Beat author. Ken is the Director of the English Language and Training Academy at American University in Washington, D.C. He teaches the course American Film and Culture Studies. Originally from Boston, he taught English in Italy before eventually settling in the D.C. area. He also spent several impactful years in San Francisco in the 1990s.
